Reviews
All Music GReview by Stephen Thomas Erlewine:

Recorded especially for an art exhibit, Music for the Amorphous Body Center expands on Stereolab's trademark guitar-and-organ drone by adding strings. With the subtle, lush strings as support, the group's easy listening and '60s pop inclinations become more pronounced, making the overlapping textures of "Pop Quiz" swirl magnificently. Such small adjustments make the EP quite wonderful; it proves that there are hidden variations in Stereolab's music that don't quite come to the forefront immediately.uide
