ART KINDER INDUSTRIE - Biography
- 1987: Back in Tarbes (South-West of France), after two years spent in La Rochelle for his studies, the young David Carretta buys some synthesizers: 1 sequencer, 1 Mirage Ensoniq sampler, 1 Roland S550 sampler, Simmons electronic pads, a mixer and a Fostex 8-track.
Quickly he meets Xavier Vincent in an underground record and clothing store, the only one in Tarbes. Both listen to the same styles of New Wave, EBM, Industrial, etc. music. and become friends. There were a few bands in Tarbes at the time, notably Velours Noir, for whom David would do the sound during a concert and recorded a few songs.
-1988: A few months later, David and Xavier founded Art Kinder Industrie. They buy a Korg MS10 and an MS20, 1 Roland JP8000 before starting to rehearse and compose songs in an old abandoned disco owned by a friend's father. They spend a lot of time in this disused club and suddenly the two young musicians and their friend decide to arrange and arrange this place a little.
